Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with over a decade of clinical practice in the Maldives and Egypt. Trained at Ain Shams University, Cairo (MBBCh 2008, MSc 2014 with a thesis on Nidogen-2 as a biomarker for ovarian cancer), and Associate of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London.
Experienced across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, gynaecological surgery, and fertility work-up including follicular study ultrasound, HSG and IUI. Previously Acting Head of Department at Addu Equatorial Hospital, with a broad independent surgical logbook covering abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, myomectomy, cerclage and caesarean section.
